Windows all in one iso by adguard | I have checked and my CV mode is turned on. Now when the motors move they stop abruptly, which is no big deal if that's OK. I seem to remember a temporary solution was to lower the acceleration and deceleration setting on each motor helped. It was very jerky until about the 5th step over and it went smooth, and then on the 6th step over it was jerky again, but it acted this way on all 6 of the holes it made. Jerky motion | Thanks Craig. The only affected axis is the Y. If it runs smooth then all 3 axes are smooth. Because the effect is not so pronounced on the letter N where the diagonal is nearer to 45 degrees, I would suspect that the software you are using is at fault and the machine is only following the GCode it has been given. Do you have a USB memory stick connected when you are running Mach3? |

On another note, when I am running in a parallel finishing mode, it runs real smooth and the Z axis seems to move up and down around humps perfectly smooth at speeds of ipm. Very smooth now, but now it might have caused a similar, smaller problem, it seems to not decelerate the motor when changing the direction, so it is a bit jerky on radical changes?
